For Connie.

For Connie.

No one could do what you've done to me.
And I know no one could move you like I have.
When it came time to choose,
whenever it came time to choose.

I chose you.

Because life didn't feel right with the thought of not having you.

And I regret.
And I grew.
But I never stopped loving you.
I have been in love with you since the idea of you ever occurred to me.
It is part of my identity.
My Soul.
The stuff of which I'm made.
And whether the situation was wrong or right
- I always wanted you.
Even when I was crazy to want you.
Even when it hurt to want you.
Even when you shouldn't have wanted me.
I want you every day.
I want you more than life itself.
I want you long after this world.
My goals and dreams don't matter as much as you do.

You are my dream.
You are my reality.
We are the same thing.
I will see you wherever I am.

In this world and out.
