Forbidden Love
I see him most every day,
I hope today he'll look my way.
Just a moment to gaze in my eyes,
to feel the love I have inside.
I daydream of us being together,
a dream I want to last forever.
The images are so vivid in my head,
I wish I could show him my love instead.
Let him know just how I feel,
maybe we can make it real.
But as he passes by,
I can only sigh.
He doesn't look at me that way,
so for now that's how it'll have to stay.
