    Forced Facade

i paint myself into a corner,
    suffocating from the forced strength.
it chooses not to let me breathe.

begging my tears to debut at any moment,
they are captive to the induced idea of perfection.
it chooses not to let me cry.

my yearning to break down wanes with each moment.
weakness subdued by the undeserved authority that is thrusted upon me.
    it chooses defeat.

I think in some way we all fall victim to an image - great write - 10 from me

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.

    T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
