    forever

soft and tender i felt your lips entwined with mine
as we embrace each other under skies untold
and live with in the moments of today's treasure,
a unity and bond expressed through the
language of our body, our heart beat, the slow
passionate breathing influenced by passion and
love.....the hands grasped tightly together as sheets
    go wrinkled and tossed aside.
this our night, our night as one to reflect the love
we share and cherish, hold and capture, live
and tell for the future is about us and what we can do
together and tonight........ i'll hold you forever.

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
