Forever
I must forever regret leaving you...so long ago
we could’ve had the life we were meant to have
together
for ever
But I was young and confused
and I said goodbye to you
We are older now and we’ve found each other
again
but it’s too late
the love is still there
forever there
but we belong to others
and you will not follow your heart.
We talk each day
and each day I smile
happy to hear your voice
and sometimes I cry
mourning what could’ve been.
You complete my life
without you I miss a part of me…
a part of me I’m not willing to leave behind
and so I go on
with the smiles
and the tears.
My love, you will always be my love
in my heart and in my soul.
I cannot live without hope
and so
our beautiful love will always live in my heart.
