Forgive Me Father!

Forgive Me Father!

Forgive Me Father! I have yet to Master, how not to in the least entertain,
thoughts of madness, that weasles through the pathes of temptation and try
to swindle My Soul.
Not so nice thoughts, of wishing another to rest in peace and never wake-up
from their intoxicated state. Over took a few moments of My rational thinking.

Quickly! I snaped out of such thinking. So here I share, when I often act as
though I don't care, when My mind thinks of dares.

Wondering around thoughtless, from trying to tame the beast within is no better of a sin.

Darkness rears, has stared Me in the face, when displaced with a broken jaw.
Scars inside and out are healing, having made Me stronger and wiser to what it is to be awarded yet another favor, from You My Savior.

Light Hearted, filled with Sun shining Days inside and out. I yearn for this night,
which leads to another Day, when one is sober and lets You have Your way.

Forgive Me Father for not always letting You have Your way.

Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
