The ideal is to have no rules, at all the less rules the better.
We want to instill confidence as an objective.

CONDUCT IN THE SCHOOL:
However. we stipulate that no one is to be slandered nor ridiculed at all…

Rule ***
The enforcement of regular forum rules-no harrassment, no personal attacks,
if you don't like what the teacher teaches, you are perfectly free to make your complaint known publicly, and then give the teacher an opportunity to respond. Any more of the same complaints should be considered as harrassment.

Rule 1. That no subscription be blatantly pornographic,
of volatile or inflammatory nor biased nature,.
Rule 2. That all members of the school be tolerant of critique.
Rule 3. That all members be loyal, sympathetic and morally and socially supportive of one another .
Rule 4. That all subscriptions are non-competitive in the School,,
but may be entered into competitions elsewhere.

CORRESPONDENCE:
1.) Requesting a critique on a poem is to not draw the Teacher away to your page all the time- if they’re working on the thread critiquing. Then again this falls under the category of A WISH list. Give them time to do it in the thread or on your page.

2.) Post your poems, in one place/post, and when more assignments come,
just add them in in a post. This makes it easier to find, and keep together, like a folder, Remember the yellow folder, also when there is a new one added, just add it in, copy and paste it save it to a doc, so it doesn't get zapped, by the nets pranksters, then delete it.
And repost it, so it is fresh, also, post your poem assignments on your page.

3.) When critiquing poems quote the poets post, then number each poem, and write your critique. If the poet has the poem on their page, you may want to read/comment/vote.

TEACHING GUIDE LINES:
You want to teach, feel free. Please keep it in one thread, and maintain it.
Do not, post multiple threads, (Unless you can maintain them all?)
this is not the read my poetry section, or critique
my poems, section, posts are monitored, and are subject to deletion.
If you want a thread deleted ask, and you shall recieve.

Teachers if you want a thread deleted flag it with information;
implemented asap:
Also when you feel your thread is overloaded with critique posts, simply ask the students to delete the posts.
This cleans up the thread, I am sure the poet has made the corrections, and knowledge to the poem.

STUDENTS PROCEDURES

1. Pick a class or classes that you want to take.
2. Start from assignment one
3. Post in the class/thread that you are taking.
Introduce yourself, and here is the key, keep the same post/spot,
and when you have finished your assignment, add it to
Student Folders here in the forum.
4. Post it on your page, in the commentary add what class your
assignment info, The Teacher has provided that for you.
5. Come back to class/thread, and delete the prior post.
6. Repost, inform the class you have posted your poem in the folder,
and have posted it on your page. Title your Poem''''''
7. Critiques, critique on the Poets poem on their page, and copy your
critique, and copy/post it to your Critique folder.
The reason for the Critique folder, is so we learn how to critique:
8. Be proud of your selves, you are Grass hopper..

Rhyme and Reason by O;Malley and Thompson...................Great little Anthology of 224 ages............large,.Interesting collection of poems. Had it on my shelf from 1975.
