Wanting what We Cannot Have
He loves me,
Yet here isn't where I want to be.
But by your side,
Is where I wish to reside
Your heart belongs to her,
This much I can concur
Why is it we always want the ones who don't want us?
All the while settling & hoping our hearts adjusts.
Adjusts to loving yet not loved in return,
Yet there IS someone whom for us they yearn!
If you'd only imagine a life of being loved every second of your life,
A life without the everyday struggles & strifes.
I could give you that with every breath I take,
Because my love for you is the one thing I cannot shake.

I am amazed by the rhyme-scheme found here
The poet has a tender heart that is superior
She has revealed some vital news about love
Of course, we are not loved in return by those
Whom we love deeply for various reasons
Still, in love, if we want to attain success
Circumstances must be in our favor of course
But, love is a myth as we can marry and love
All a perfect adjustment of mind and heart
Definitely, everybody is qualified to be loved
This poem is lovely with lots of poetic touch.
