Free

I don't write to let my light shine;
Words escape from my mind in epic numbers,
Dancing in my memory until there meaning is exalted.
Shaking silence;
Still letters form thoughts
Giving life to dreams deferred,
Birthing new ideas making their voices heard.

I don't write to provide sentiment,
My sentimental nature I would not wish on my enemy.
To have love then not could sponsor insanity and
An endless supply of pain could create another me.

Instead i seek to share comity.
I write for release.
Setting free feelings forged in my brain,
I write for peace.
Like Saul Williams, Robert frost
Langston Hughes, Willy S, and the rest
I write to be...

Willy S.... do you mean Shakespeare?
