    freedom from war

    as the sun dawns
    so as the battle draws
    we beand beckoned for greatness
    spears,guns,matchets demands bravery
we gather in groups to defend little did we know we are set to plunder

right to freedom, hope for life and prosperrity lingered in our thoughts
neither did we know our leaders hve different mandates
choosen to conquer and or feared to be conquered we match

i have learnt that peace are not won on the battle field but negotiated on the round table
after plunder and miserywe befelled our people
they are yet to shake off the strings of civil battle

years past only millions of deaths realised
atlast our leaders proclaimed no victor no vanquish
but deep in our minds we know we lost for things never went right again uptill now indeed we failed
i have learnt that victory is not meant to end war but to foster it as we have seen in mother continent

let hte world give ear to thisand plan for battle are not meant to right but to wrong

Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
