    I don't know about lovers but if one is married, it would be pretty sad to think just because they are married that they can't be friends! I hear that's how it goes for most...too bad. I like this!

    There can be no real love without first a deep friendship - do you think. And friendship goes before love goes, does it not?

    This is a very well written, concise, and inspiring poem.I agree that in order to develop an intimate relationship with someone,you need to build a strong friendship with trust and unconditional acceptance and admiration for each other. Great poem. Terry

    or in my case thrown in my face and turned out just to find be someone good to treatlike an object i'm sick of people playing to get laid... this world is pathetic
