    The call of the lark
    and the red winged blackbird
    The rustle of grass
    over my left sholder
    and
    before us
    the ripple of the brook
    and the depth of your silence
    as you
    not far away
    think on other things

    These I take back with me
    to the noise of the city

    I love the way you write so I can hear the rustle of grass and the ripple of the brook and from the depth of your silence I listen to a lovely love story. Love the way you write..........

    I kid you not, Stryx. This sounds like a scene in my book where Richard and Millicent go horseback riding. I like this poem very much. It is rich with sweet innocents, and pleasure.

    These days one hears a lot about doing more with less. I can't remember seeing the concept more effectively executed.
