"Friends forever, no matter where you are!"
Those were the words you said a far
Riding on the train I could not hear
But even so I left with no fear
Leaving my friends, the hardest yet
That in time I wish not to regret
5 years though have past, now I return
Greeted by my old friends, but one I got burn
Angry and upset she ignored my words
To me, her attitude was just absurd
As days go by, the ice begins to melt
And then I feel like I have never felt
"I'm sorry I wasn't there for your change
But I'll be with you forever in exchange."
My friend, my greatest friend of all
He's always there for me to always call
Both his sister and him, one mind, twins
they suffer from their father's grin
A plot to escape from their father's bond
Both making a sad sacrifice leaving our bond
He asks me what I told our friend
I repeated "I'll be with her until the end"
He says its conceited yet agrees and laughs
But the next day at lunch there are no laughs
Class begins both twins are not in school
I never realized that I could be a fool
Frantically, I hurry towards the train
It was too late, they left the plane
I run and run and grab a bike
Hurriedly I rode to the bridge with the bike
I quickly get off and run to the bridge
And yell to him as he had once did
They couldn't hear but he knew what I said
And he reminisced on what he does not dread
He tells his sister and lets out sigh
Then he bangs his head and they both begin to cry
Tears flowed from their eyes like a river flow
But they leave now with hope and a glow
Even now we all remember whether near or far
"We're friends forever, no matter where we are!!"
