I feel myslef slipping away
further into the unknown
stopping it? not as easy
considering I'm already gone
The fear comes creeping in
panic, terrors, haunting of the past
reminding myself i can get through
hiding behind my mask
The laughter, the smiles
keeps me moving on
without that shining light
I am just another pawn
My guard is up, forget the tears
show me its real, that its ok to feel
and its not my soul you intend to steal
