    Poem Commentary

Just one of my whimsical favorites

    Garden Dragons

You know dragons aren’t gone forever

For shy ones are here still

Though small they might however be

    Dragons they still be

    They run through the carrots

And lie soaking up the sun

Though most are on the run

    The garden’s full of them

    A peek of flashing green

They be half hidden in the chives

    A knights forgotten quest

Is the burden that they no longer carry

A mundane eye, a lizard might see

Dragons in miniature they are to me

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.
