Generations
When I look I see,
Ageless beauty of ageless people,
The ageless warmth of the ageless fire,
The fire connecting them all,
This moment in time forever standing,
Beautiful minds expressing beautiful souls,
Commonalities built from life years combined;
Unseen tears of joy and relief,
Unseen tears proving we really lived,
Releasing our spirits burden bound,
Making room for peace,
Allowing them and us and I to move on;
I feel inspiration found,
In a dark dark place,
A minute an hour is all it took,
I put together the puzzle of,
Humanity’s love everlasting;
Old inspiring young,
Youth inspiring their elders,
They’re all generations,
All ageless and all inspire,
All the same all generations.
