Gentle

    Gentle

He leads her by the hand to his room

Lit only by a single candle

    He gently kisses her lips

Softly pecking her lower neck with his lips

As he slips her black dress off her shoulders

Left venerable and stripped down to her lingerie

She looks up into his eyes

Looking her straight in the eyes

    He softly says to her

    Your Beautiful

    Tenderly kissing her again

    With curiosity and interest

    She unbuckles his belt

    Off comes his clothes

    Skin to skin

They begin to explore each other’s bodies

    With their lips

    To their finger tips

    Delicately discovering

Lust every desire, in every curve, around every turn

    Moving as one

A dance only Lovers can understand

Trust in a manner deeper than the words that brought them together

    For the night

    To the sunrise

    She was amazing

    He was something different

    Meeting in the middle

    Only to end up

Sharing more than just a bed

A piece of each other forever

    Life moved on

    As did they

    But for a brief moment

    They as one

    Were a moment

    In the night

    Till the morning light

From greetings full of smiles and clever words

To sad smirks full of slow words

As if trying to stop time

If only the moment was endless

While in the eye of the storm

    She looks perfect

And he never wants to lose that image of her

    He was Gentle to her

Showing her more of his Heart

    Rather than the male instinct

As he regarded her as a Lady

With a tip of his hat

And the wink of her eye

    They parted paths

    An experience learned

    A fond memory to treasure

    For a lonesome day

Memorable experience portrayed so tenderly! The perfect Lady is not shown the usual "male Instinct;" he is Gentle- she gets his Heart. Good write.

    thanks lisa!
