GENTLE BREEZE

 WAVES CRASH AGAINST THE SAND
BLUE SKIES, WARM AIR, SEAGULS FLY
RUSH OF THE WATER ON MY FEET

 A GENTLE BREEZE GOES BY,

BIG DUNES I WALK ALL ALONE, END OF
BEACH AM I, LOOKING OUT TO THE  SEA

 A GENTLE BREEZE GOES BY

CHILDREN PLAY THE DAY AWAY, MOTHERS
STANDING BY, FATHERS PLAY BALL WITH THEIR SONS

A GENTLE BREEZE GOES BY.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
