Poem Commentary

One of my shorter poems, expect it to be expanded in the near/far future.

Give Me A Moment, I'll Explain What I Learned

Give me a moment, I’ll give you all my knowledge

I’ll teach you the movement, lost in the seconds

I’ll tell you the secrets of all of life’s meanings

Lost in the deepness that was buried within me

You can understand me, you know all my ways

So why complicate what is obviously fate

Too late to turn back now, too lost to leave this town

And still I know all about living within without

But understand my answer might not be very clear

You can try to decipher but I’m a little bit out there

Wise men could describe in clearer ways than I

But you still ask me why so I’ll give it a try

Don’t let your future wait, don’t complicate

If you hesitate you’ll find yourself too damn late

I know it’s not much, but I think I got my point across

You taught me enough to know this is love

If I ever could know anything, I know this one thing

I know that you are my everything, and that you love me

There is nothing to explain, the purity of love is explaination enough and speaks volumes to your heart, mind, and soul, bravo! The details of life's obstacles and barriers are in truth just details! If you love is true and devine, and perhaps only God knows this forsure, than things will just work themsleves out. If you stress to much about the details of it all, sometimes you lose yourself and eachother. There is no point to let the future wiat, as the future is truely becoming your present, live for the moment and enjoy the ride while it lasts for nothing in this life lasts forever, but if the love you share is true it can be eternal. An old chinese proverb says this" if you keep both eyes on your destination ( aka future) than one will often trip and fall for they can't see the path as they travel for they are blind". I have found a lot of wisedom in this phrase. Food for thought. Purity of the soul, journey well!!! with grace and humility your friend ANGEL aka The poem buster

Never thought I'd see you write a love poem sis, but you did a very good job. Awesome!

Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
