Poem Commentary

I mean what I say and say what I mean.

GOD

The end of this life you see, I have to face reality, I whisper my tears to you and  silently scream my fears to you. In this life, there's been heartache and pain,  I can't and  I don't want to face it again!  I ask, but there is no answer and I weep, but there is no banter, are you there God?  All this pent up anguish, faulty and walking around and questioning if I'm blameless? No wonder you don't hear! me! This Is the end now and I'm tired, so GOD, you've just been fired!

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
