    God's Gift To The Lonely

I have wandered around this earth
    Forever searching it seems
For someone to hold dear and love
    For someone where hope gleams
    I found a beautiful woman
    Living in a Midwestern town
    She turned my world completely
    Turned it upside down
She brought to me a new side of life
Where living life is so full
I can't imagine life without her
    Without her gentle pull
My life is nothing without her
So I keep her close to me
To have, to hold, to protect and love,
    For all eternity.

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.
