Gods wine

Gods wine

This room, these walls can’t hold us

Time and space lose their meaning

Imagination intoxicates us

Trapped inside a dream

Worlds within worlds

Filled with passions nectar

Armed with solitude

Verse after verse

Swept away by a thought

Held there by beauty

Poets

We make Gods wine

What a beautiful metaphor! We distill the Divine spirit of whatever we contemplate through words....I really love that. I was contemplating how true that is about music as well (all the arts really,)...how it is our attempt to express the unlimited, the indefineable, in some way that we, in our tender physicality, can comprehend. Thank you!

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
