    golden petal

The fluorescent colored petal falls and still renders beauty.
Take a gander at the remarkable flower petals of this plant fluttering away.

I reside here sitting in the shade watching this flower fade well others are being decayed.

Oh what a radiant day this is, the sun is creating life that will soon be gone.

Animals roam flower petals fly along.

The birds create a soothing song I’ve grown so fond.

I believed that things like this didn’t exist for so long but now it has been found it all started from seeing this golden flower petal falling to the ground spreading the joyfulness all around.

The day is so bland I pick up the petal and place it in your hand a symbol of remembrance of how today was grand.

This poem allows me to see as if I were there watching as you were writing. The way you have written this poem allows people to see what you see. Keep Writing! Great Job!

I love the simple elegance that this poem portrays. It is such a reminder of what a gift it is to appreciate the simple joys in life.

That's what a poet does... find the miracles in the simplest things. Your work has a very spontaneous feel about it, though you've obviously chosen your words with care. That's a rare combination.

Poetry is what is lost in translation.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
