    Gone II

I look around the corner, your not there.
I look out the window, wishing you were here.
You left me before and you made me cry,
The pain and sorrow clearly in my eyes.
I said you were gone by morning in the light,
And now more then ever you proved me right.
My pine erupted in my very soul,
And rips a hole in my heart.
My very existence was completely destroyed.
So I banished you from my mind, body, and soul.
So now I'm alone and your gone.

Your poem says it all. Describes how it feels when you are left alone with no one to be there when you turn that corner.

Poetry comes nearer to vital truth than history.

Plato (BC 427-BC 347) Greek philosopher.
