    Gone With The Birds

    I thought my pain was gone.
    I thought it'd finally ended.
    I thought the rest of my heart
    Was finally defended.
    But I was wrong to imagine
    Such a beautiful world;
    To want some good love
    For the ugliest girl.
    I don't think of him that much,
    But when I get lonely, I cry.
    When I think of the love
    That so quickly passes me by.
    I know he did me wrong,
    But he has that spot in my heart.
    I didn't think I'd be in love with him
    Not in the beginning nor the start.
    When it finally ended,
    I took it very hard.
    Though I hid it very well,
    I was still badly scarred.
    I still think about his lovin'.
    Man, I miss his sweet words,
    But the love has flown away.
    It's Gone With The Birds...

    very nicely written poem my friend, very emotional and gives one insight to your heart. I really liked this poem for the emotion its shows and how well it flows. A great read thanks and a 10 from me

    Nice poem, very emotional, Love is like fire it means no harm; but it can burn deep compatible to anothers charm and thats when love hurts when you fall into it.
