    Good Bye Jackal

Please don’t ask for my hand

Please don’t look at me in that way

    Stop

It’s not fair to take my Heart out for a spin

When you know your intent is lower than the way I feel

You hold my body closer than you should

You keep my Heart further away than I wish

    When I look at you

    Its only you

    Only you

    That I see

I wish you knew what Love was

I wish you knew who I was

    You only know the Dancer

You only know a good night

    There’s more to a moment

Than just the club or a drink

I’m sad to see you go

From one dance to the other

    Dancer after dancer

O lass I wish things had turned out better

    Between us

    You’re a gifted Dancer

    But that’s all I know

You’ve shown me nothing but your body

I wish it had been your Heart

Even if it wasn’t mine to take

    This is good bye

Kudos, alot people don't think like that, I like what you said those are beautiful words to say and want better from somebody.Especially the ending you express your feeling on what you wanted.

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.
