    Good Morning Sunrise

    Good morning Sunrise.
    I anticipated your coming.
I waited all night long for your return.
I dreamt of your bright smile
    and your beaming personality.
The air was cold and stiff without your
    warming hug and luminous glow.
And then this morning, when you awoke
and stepped from under your blanket of clouds,
you brought to life a new day.
Up with you, life rose and begun the day's task.
As you peeked in my window and woke me with
your smile of light, I said to you
    "Good morning Sunrise."

Nice poem. love it. nice metaphore between morning sunshine and a smile of a lover.

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
