    Goodbye

    It could have been farewell,
    But now its goodbye.
Don't worry im not going to cry.
Every tear that starts to dry is payback for every time you lied.
Now I have a real dad,
So I don't feel so sad.
He dares to care and he's there for me when i need him to be.
I can guarantee he won't walk out on me.
He will be the one to see all of my smiles.
He will be the one to walk me down the aisle.
He will be the one to see my children.
He will be the one I call my dad and the one my children call Grandpa.
    So its not farewell,
    It's goodbye,
Because you don't get anymore tries.

Nice flow and rhythm, (GP) smiles Vincent

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.
