    Growing up

    When you were born
Your mama said "she looks just like you"
When you took your first steps
Your daddy said "come here you"
When you said your first words
Your grandma said "shes growing up
and it's the hardest thing she'll have to do"
    When you were ten
You learned how to ride a bike
    Two wheels not four
And when you were fifteen your teen years began and you were scared
    Oh yes you were scared
And when sixteen came around your dad left and you didn't know what to do
    It's 'cause you're growing up
And it's the hardest thing you'll have to do
Twenty-One came around and your grandma died
You didn't know who to turn to so you sat down and cried
You called your mama and you asked for her help
She came right over and you held on tight
You didn't want to let go, of the last thing you had
So you asked her for her wise advice
Your mama said "your growing up
and it's the hardest thing you'll have to do"
You said "im growing up but it's something i have to do. it'll be the hardest i have to do. it's something i'm gonna do"

Amazing way of looking at life. It seems as we grow older life becomes harder, more obstacles to overcome, but this seems inspirational to people so willing to give up.

How time flies. Never forget where you come from :D

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

    Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
