    Gutter Blues

It's all so blue, not sunny sky blue but in the gutter blue
    The news is never good
    Losing so much so fast
were soft bellied 21 century Americans
we don't like such gloom and doom
we like bright colors and fast cars and jeans with shiny stuff on the back pockets
it's hard to sparkle these days when the jobs have disappeared
like a puddle on a hot day
    this all sucks
we don't want to be frugal and cautious
    we wanna rock and roll
    we wanna dance
    we wanna sing
But now we just sing the blues, the dirty low down gutter blues
    that aint got no rythem

Oh this is definitely one special piece of poetry that I have come across in this contemporary mess we face. Your right, you should be rocking and rolling not worry about whether your jobs gonna end or the fact there are not many that pay the rent. Yep, there is no rhythm left.......

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
