Habits of a Lifetime

Giving up and living in sin,
Learning to nurture the demons within.
To be harsh and obscene,
To keep hold of my dreams
And i'll always end up best in the end.
Last man standing but only just
I'll be no slave to this fitful lust
All you taught me, I remember it well;
Live by my rules or rot in hell
I'll never live by your standards
The stongest yet, but most alone
I'll keep my heart carved out of stone
I've met your type time and time before,
I've been your cheap past-midnight whore
But this time I want to be yours by morning...
