    Haiku - en mass

    --------------------------------------

                   FOG 

          from shore to shore
    covering the eyes of the night
          in day still no birds


     there are no bird sounds
     a heavy fog remains here
        saving on bird-food


         heavy is the fog
    yet finally come the crows
      there is bread enough


       the dark fog rolls in
    drawing a curtain of black
        no seeing beyond


    --------------------------------
               Sound Winters

         winters on the Sound
    cool nights - rainy are the days
         so what's not to like?


            winter is coming
    leaves are falling on the ground
          spring is on its way

    stryx, A foggy, ocean is always a mezmerizing scene for me. The fact that no birds are here initially is quite somber. You paint pictures for me that are so vivid and enlightening! ginga
