    Halloween

    Halloween is around the corner
a spooky time of the year
    along comes pumpkins and goblins
    as ghosts and witches appear
Tricks and treats are expected too
and magical faires for your eyes
haunted houses and parties are liked by all
while the young folk dance in disguise
Crisp, clean air on a horror filled night
    with spooktacular beasties galore
    Oh no, it's frankensteins monster
waiting for candy at my door
    The mummy, wolfman and dracula
through my yard they walk on by
I better not let them see me
If I am not careful, I could die
    As midnight comes a wandering
it is close to the witching hour
Zombies walk the face of the earth
in search of brains to devour
Of all the seasons and holidays
    Halloween scares me the best
Now it is time to dig my grave
    and lay myself to rest.
