Happening Again
It's happening again.
Where's that barrel?
Where's that blade?
I'll finally put it all away.
The pain felt for you was real
But I chose to ignore its power
Look at me!
I'm falling to pieces
Nothing more than specks of dust
My sorrow will be gone within a matter of seconds
I wish to be happy
Really, I do
And maybe that's the problem
I don't want me to be happy
It's like I'm in a body holding the war zone
I'm fighting with myself each day.
The only way this battle will end
Is with my endless silence.
