  • Didn't I tell you, what I believe... Did somebody say that....that love like that won't last? Didn't I give you all that I got to, give baby?

Happily Ever After (Part 2)

It’s a long time coming...

The days grow longer and the nights grow shorter

The sweetest breezes of the warmer months

Cling to my exposed flesh

My eyes behold a wondrous sight

From Sunrise to Set and Rise again

Cycles that ebb and flow like The Tides

To know and hold you like Life Giving Air

Notwithstanding the Absolute Fact, that season change

And Time edged away the precipice of Madness and Pain

With summer’s Life, it renews again, My Dream of Forever

Beneath the Sight of God

To create a visage that lends itself to Paradise, not lost

How I dream the day

To hold close the very image of my love to my bosom

Drawing close, like the Kiss from a Rose, the sweet taste of a frenzied lover

To whisper to me a love that lasts beyond the ages

Ours alone for all time and eternity

Concurrently designed to electrify my soul

Indicative of the concept of a ‘soul mate’

That special person who your very nature requires

Neither explanation nor consequence

Neither confusion nor abuse

Whose sighs and passion tears through to the very innocence I thought I lost

Washing me through tears and blood

Ecstasy and Intrigue

And releases me from the Underworld imprisoned, if only for a season

To know life again, in the heart

Death in the lap and burial within the eyes

Is this to be written

For the lover I had found

Could only be the one

For which my happily ever after can exist

If only to certify

That I am your King, Your Slave, and the complement

That we are bound by spirit from this life into the next

And only that our love is one that is  testament to gods and men

when I read your work I am satisfied, full and content like a belly rich with the warmth of a good meal.

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.

T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
