Happy Birthday, Stephanie
On November 19, 1990
The world got a little brighter
For it saw the birth
Of a beautiful baby girl
And her parents named her Stephanie
She's from New Zealand
Half a world away
And without the World Wide Web
We never would have met
I'm so glad we did
Because this young woman
Has become a very good friend
We don't talk as often as I'd like
She's often rather busy
But I'd just like my friend to know
That she means a lot to me
Through her I've met some
Wonderful people I think
Very highly of
And for that I'll always be
Grateful to her, for it was
Through her, that I fell in love
That woman no longer speaks to me
Something I'll always regret
But I'll always be happy that I knew her
And without Stephanie
We never would have met
I could go on and on about
How highly I think of Stephanie
But I think that'd make her blush
But one thing that I will tell you
Is how beautiful she looks in a dress
I saw a photo of her at a formal gathering
Wearing a long black dress
I must say she looked stunning
Almost regal in appearance
Just seeing that photo made me smile
And made me glad that I'm her friend
I do hope to one day meet her in person
This beautiful young lady from
New Zealand.
Happy birthday, Stephanie.
