    Happy Mother's Day

    Wrapped in glossy, silver paper
bound by virginal, white satin ribbon
    lies the rarest treasure found

    It's cost was high
    almost breaking me
    I hope it pleases you

    My gift to you
    is my innocence
    finally found by seeing
    who you really are

I LOVED THE IMAGERY IN THIS ONE I COULD NOT TELL IF THIS WAS ABOUT YOU OR YOUR MOM PERHAPS IF YOU HAD DROPPED A HINT OR TWO I COULD HAVE APPRECIATED IT EVEN MORE THE THOUGHT OF INNOCENCE BEING A GIFT IS VERY INTRIGUING

Poetry comes nearer to vital truth than history.

Plato (BC 427-BC 347) Greek philosopher.
