He Requires Me

He Requires Me

Made brand new
God's love so true
He heard my cry
God's sacrifice is why
Delieverance from temptation
I refuse to live in dissipation
The day he returns
we all should have learned
so blind, but my God spared my sight
Growing wise to use our knowledge upright
How i've learned to use kind words to those underneath me
the power that comes forth praising him spiritually
Giving your all to him is what he desires, but its your mind
there's not much time,
the time is now,
kneel down and bow
anger
lust
death
lying
enemies
fear
jealousy
humility
Never blessed but always stressed..all he wants is a yes
He's calling my name,
And i answer in shame
Repentance from sin-centeredness
striving to god-centeredness
from this day i declared his glory
to live as a prophet of many years to tell my story.

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
