    He Stood Her Up

He told her he would be there tonight
And made her insides fill up with delight
She was so happy 'till she looked in the mirror
And then her eyes filled up with tears.

Her ugly face would never do,
She had to look good enough for you.
She curled all her long, boring hair
And pondered over what she should wear.

She picked an elegant purple dress.
She must look gorgeous, nothing less.
She curled all her eyelashes, every single one,
But there was still so much work to be done.

She put on mascara and put bows in her hair
And ironed out the dress she decided to wear.
And with one more last squirt of perfume,
She sat down to quietly wait in her room.

At 4:00 her eyelids grew weak
And all the makeup was running down her cheeks.
    She fell asleep at 4:02
When she finally gave up waiting for you. </3

Very emotional and in detail poem great word flow. He doesn't deserve her she deserves someone better after standing her up. Great poem BikemanRJ
