Healing of Folly

    Healing of Folly

Tender years, an echo of humiliation
    Deeply entrenched beliefs in shame
    Trapped energy recreating its base
    Invasion of primal privacy
    Unrelenting outrages
    Intrinsic sense of wrongness
    Lost sense of identity
    Overcoming fear of hornets
    By pissing off indifferent nests
Open wide the shield, permit an entry
The womb of rejection to measure its walls
That route of cord-blood feeding supply
Lift the veil of pervasive pain
That healing might discern its placement
    Troll of scorn come hither
Sup under the bridge of self-limitation
Where thoughts have fed on platters of
    Illusion's derision and wrongness
    Buttered with vaporous transgressions
    To further pain's understandings
Beside it sits laughter, the folly of fear
    Turning not away, now witness
    Those tears, those binding ties
    The trappings of those lies
    Presence abides in the quiet
    Where solitude abides
Listening in the fuller story inside

aho, graceladymn! "Where thoughts have fed on platters of Illusion's derision and wrongness" ... trolls and trappings and tears, oh my ... and the antidote, simply "Listening" ... beautiful write, Darlin' ... -dh

It is more about centering and discovering the truth in each story through learning to listen, now while we are awake and mature and witnessing, at times it is a matter of reading an energy one has tapped into and hearing its story of why it lingers, then it is free to go becoming something other. There was a time we didn't understand but we do not have to remain there. Again thank you for reading and commenting dh.

Poetry is when an emotion has found its thought and the thought has found words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
