    Hear my cries!

    He has hurt me once...
beating me down to the grown
lost in a world of hurt and depression
no time to pick myself up and breathe.
    He has hurt me twice....
drowning me, please release me from this pain.
I am scared and reaching out to you...
Lord hears me crying, HELP ME LORD!
He has his hands all over me pushing and holding me down.
Yet my arms reach out for your mercy.
I want to be loved and cared for Lord please
    HEAR MY CRIES!

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
