Heart Whisperer

Poem Commentary

Regina2 and I were talking about how we have touched each others hearts. Somewhere during that conversation, we found this poem.

Heart Whisperer

He speaks to me every day
The heart whisperer eases my pain
With his gentle heart
He embraces me with love
And I am deeply touched

She has a most gentle soul
That reaches into the hearts
Of those she touches
Her soft spoken words
Fill my lonely days
With joy and anticipation
When I hear her voice

Not many have whispered to my heart
As he has done
Like a beacon in the night
He shines to guide my way
I no longer feel alone
Because he walks by my side

With her heartfelt ways
She soothes my pain
And gives my life meaning again
No other woman
Has touched me the way
Her heart whispers to mine

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.
