    Heart

You can sometimes hear your heart talk,
To those who listen and to those who walk.
You can hear all the pain and the tears it may cry,
As I desperately fight myself not to try.
For this is a battle you must fight,
To show yourself what you think to be right.
To listen to a heart you thought had died,
Only to find that your mind has lied.
No matter what from thick to thin,
It's always been the thing you put your life in.
So stop the tears where they've fallen before,
And get up and open that door.
To a world of untamed emotions,
    And unmeasured devotions.
Until you receive the fragile kisses upon thy lips,
And gentel touches from your loves finger tips.
So listen to your heart as it roars,
Cause who's to tell you what lies behind those doors.
