Heartbeats

Heartbeats

We could talk of the sun and the sea

The dusk and dawn skies and the waves

Or the patterns the night stars make

We could talk of this light

Inside of me

A Free spirit, flowers

The warm summer breeze

We could talk of the unifying sound

The music we make ushering the

Sun down at the end of the day

A circle of beating drums

Hearts beating steady as one

We could talk of the spirit and the soul

The happiness and joy that makes us whole

Of friendship, Hope, family and love

Forever to have and to hold
