    Poem Commentary

    Having a belief system, or belief in something that is greater than our own understanding is vital to mental health and emotional stability. I believe that we all need to seek God, and understand Him as best that we can. My heart has healed many times, just by relying on His presence and comforting hand. I pray this is true, or comes true for you too.

    Hearts Heal

    To Kathryn...with love.

    Thank you Father,
      for healing so real,
    your Son you gave us,
      now His love we feel.

    Our hearts were breaking,
      our pain too great,
    scars still mending,
      no longer we wait.

    Your love surrounds us,
      we hold you dear,
    joy so abundant,
      you're right here; near.

    Stay with us savior,
      guide us this night,
    be here in the daytime,
      making all right.

    No gift could we give you,
      would ever compare,
    to the love in the manger,
      or in our home we share.
