    Heaven
    heaven
    an orgy of dead memory
    a hallucination i never forgave
    a place they told me
    i could never be saved
    as i'm growing
    from three to six feet tall
    I'm left in that playground
    I'm left with no will
    blown by the wind of knowledge
    drowning in the waters of unknowing
    so hard to accept
    the world i know
    will neglect
    every thought i have
    every memory wanting
    every wish
    now glowing
    as the daylight is unfolding
    your hand is so warm
    its all that i have
    your face is so close
    its all that i am
    if i were to close my eyes
    and wake up alone
    id remember the life i had
    where you were my own

    A graphic ascension of the dream state! If heaven is bound by one's concept of it, then we will surely perish. The Heaven of my hope is not of my construct, and greater than my own existence, I therefore have hope greater than my life's perceptions, or fleeting emotion. Excellent writing, young man!

    I love the imagery you have incorporated; the plot opens a vision letting the readers imagination take over. I look upon this as a masterpiece. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to share my feelings. LOL, BDC

    This poem seems to be remembering how things wer so long ago, and some of the changes that occurred. I love it.
