    Heaven's Door

     

    There were clouds of mist

    doves white as snow

    it was a place of elegance

    anyone

    would want

    to go

     

    soft music

    of violin sounds

    filled the room

    all around

    it was

    knock,knock knock

    at heaven's door

     

    angels of kindness

    gentle and sweet

    were there

    with open

    arms to greet

    Mother

    + when she stepped in

    knock knock knock

    This is a finely tuned bit of poetry.......it has love, happiness, and a hint of sadness. I don't understand these last 3 lines, though.........................................................gogant + when she stepped in knock knock knock at Heaven's Door.

    Hi gogant, thanks for the compliment, to your not understanding the last 3 lines, it's a visual that I had as my Mother step up into to heaven and knocked at heaven's door, and the door opened (smile)

    You know gogant, It is so interesting to me that you notice the + sign, it was surprising to me after I finish the poem, and proof read it I noticed it was there without my knowledge of putting it there, by it being a cross sign I decided to leave it there, it shows that this poem was given to me by the grace of God, believe me when I tell you this, you are the first person to have pointed that out, feel special.(smile)
