    Her

    We have no memories,
    though you remember her
    more than you do me

    Am I,
    just another
    as you wait for her?

    You loved her more,
    You trusted her more,
    Will you ever move on?

When I walk down the aisle
    Will you see her,
    in the white wedding gown?

Do you see putting a ring
    on her finger,
and saying your vows to her?

    Will she be the one,
    you say I do to?
Do you want to spend your life,
    with her,
    or me?

Oh goodness... Your right, i wouldn't like it.....

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
