    Here Lies My Soul

    When the darkness

    alights upon my soul,

    reflecting shadows-

    heart's foreboding.

    Wretched,

    misleading,

    unsure-

    life passes before me

    as if lost within a dream.

    Withered,

    this emptiness;

    vast, yet deceptive.

    I drown in pools

    of memories,

    peace within reach

    yet without reprieve.
