Poem Commentary

Not sure something I'm playing with........just trying to capture that moment of a pure song when you can't help but dance......:)

Here we go

Beats of the music;
slowly begin to sway,
not noticing as first,

A tap of aafoot,
then a bob of the head,
look in your eye,

rising to dance,
matters not what you look like,
for the beats have taken over,

energy in the room,
DJ spinning,
controlling the flow,

all are one,
flowly freely with each other,
no cares at this moment,

there is a pause,
everyone looks around,
moving as one,

hammer of the beats;
slowly pulsates back to life,
and the dance takes over again.

these simple moments,
with sweat and bodies so close,
moving as one,

lost in the music,
we are one,
and nothing else matters,

Pureness returns,
Nothing but joy,
Happiness flows from everyone,

Suddenly as it begins,
the song ends,
everyone parts sadly like nothing has happened.

been there done that once:)

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
